Ms. Anne Emmet

Associate

Anne is an independent, development funding and monitoring and evaluation consultant. For the last 30 years she has worked extensively with Independent, Private, Corporate, Family and Community Foundations, State related funding bodies and NGOs working in the Human Rights, Biodiversity and Social Development sectors in South and southern Africa.

Her role as an independent consultant includes strategy, policy and programme formulation, institutional assessments, organisational development and undertaking M&E for and on behalf of clients. The M&E services she offers includes Evaluation design and research, Data gathering, Data analysis, Report writing, the Development of M&E Systems and the training of staff in M&E methods and practice

She has an Honours Degree (History) via the University of Cape Town and a Master of Philosophy Degree (Monitoring and Evaluation) via Stellenbosch University (cum laude).

Anne at present serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Communicare, a leading provider of affordable housing in South Africa and as a Director of the Synergos Institute, Southern Africa. She formerly served on a number of boards including Educo Africa (Youth development), the WHEAT Trust (Women’s Fund), and the Southern African Grant Makers’ Association.
