Project summary:
An investigation into the development of standard classifications to serve as minimum norms and standards in the areas of indicators, data sources and a data co-ordination framework for effective results-based monitoring and evaluation for Provincial Strategic Goal 2: Improving Education Outcomes and Opportunities for Youth Development & Provincial Strategic Goal 3: Increasing Wellness, Safety and Tackling Social Ills.
The indicators and data sources being used by affected departments were examined and various proposals were developed on how various outcome, output, activity indicators and data sources could be improved based on clearly defined minimum norms and standards. The available administrative data sources and the institutional arrangements, namely data governance to facilitate data sharing was also considered.
